What is an NFC stacker?

It's a Coinfinity storage unit with a small NFC chip built in. The chip acts as a permanent digital ID, so tapping it with your phone instantly opens that unit's contents in the app.

Do I need special hardware?

To tap-to-scan you use Coinfinity NFC stackers, available at Coinfinity.US. You can still add stacks, units and items manually if you want to start tracking before your stackers arrive.

Is my collection data private?

Yes. Coinfinity is local-only — no account, no sign-in, and no cloud copy of what you own. Holdings, photos, storage and sales stay on the phone. Network is used only to pull prices, product listings and optional catalog lookups. Encrypted backups are files you keep wherever you choose.

What's free vs. Coinfinity Pro?

The app is free to download. Free records up to 20 tracked items, stacks, storage units, photos, sales, delayed metal prices, the shop, and restore from backup. Coinfinity Pro adds unlimited items, real-time prices, charts, ROI, the sales ledger, and encrypted backup — $4.99/month, $49.99/year (best value), or $249.99 Lifetime. Restore is always free.

Does cert lookup identify any coin from a photo?

No. Type a cert number or scan the barcode on a graded slab and the coin, year, grade and metal prefill the form. PCGS certs look up directly; NGC uses PCGS's barcode lookup with a fallback to NGC's own site. It does not appraise coins from photos or identify raw coins.

Does Coinfinity sell bullion?

No. The shop sells stacking accessories — storage tubes, bins and 3D-printed models of them. Physical goods check out through Shopify. Coinfinity Pro is the only in-app purchase.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Coinfinity Tracker 2.0 is live on the App Store and Google Play, with NFC scanning on both iPhone and Android.
